Toya reflects on his ability to compose, which is technically competent, but lacks feeling. Arata spots him practising and takes him along to visit Souma.
Vivid BAD SQUAD, EVER, Kotaro, and Arata practice together. Arata suggests that they compose songs under the same theme for their next event. An and Akito take on the composing duties for the group, with Toya wishing he could help.
