Shiraishi Ken (白石謙), also known by the stage name KEN, is a side character associated with the unit Vivid BAD SQUAD .
He first appears in Vivid BAD SQUAD's main story and makes frequent appearances throughout the groups event and card stories.
Background[edit | edit source]
Ken is the father of Shiraishi An and formerly a popular street musician in Shibuya, known by the stage name KEN. He now runs a cafe and bar with a live music scene called WEEKEND GARAGE, located on Vivid Street, where his daughter often helps out.
When he was active in the music scene, Ken was in a group called RADder along with his friends Kotaki Taiga and Kotaki Nagi. Three years before the Main Story, the three of them organized and performed in a legendary event known as RAD WEEKEND.
Appearence[edit | edit source]
Ken has amber eyes, short wavy brown hair, and a goatee.
On his head he wears rectangular glasses with a thick black rim and red-tinted lenses, two silver helix piercings in his right ear and one in his left lobe. He wears a metallic necklace, two T-shirts, the one under being dark blue and the one over white with a textured yellow logo saying "WEG" in big bold letters and "Weekend Garage" in small ones underneath, a dark blue sleeve reaching a bit below his left elbow and a wristwatch on the same hand. He also has dark gray pants with a belt.
Personality[edit | edit source]
Ken is rather laid-back, but is also caring, looking out for not only An, but most of the aspiring young musicians who come to Vivid Street. He serves as a mentor for all the Vivid BAD SQUAD members.
Relationships[edit | edit source]
- Azusawa Kohane: An's friend, groupmate, and partner, and a young Vivid Street musician. Ken has known Kohane since Main Story, and continues to give her advice whenever she needs it.
- Shiraishi An: Ken's daughter. He fosters her love of music from a young age, and encourages her to pursue her dream of surpassing RAD WEEKEND.
- Shinonome Akito: A young Vivid Street musician, and An's groupmate in Vivid BAD SQUAD. Ken has known Akito since he was a solo act, and continues to give advice to him whenever he needs it.
- Aoyagi Toya: A young Vivid Street musician, and An's groupmate in Vivid BAD SQUAD. Ken has known Toya since he teamed up with Akito in BAD DOGS, and continues to give advice to him whenever he needs it.
- Kotaki Taiga: Ken's former groupmate in RADder, who he organised RAD WEEKEND with. Rumor has it that RADder dissolved because of an argument between Ken and Taiga. They don't appear to hold anything against each other, but they still occasionally butt heads.
- Kotaki Nagi: Ken's former groupmate in RADder, who he organised RAD WEEKEND with.
- Shiraishi Yuka: Ken's wife. She works as a school teacher, and is supposedly bad at cooking.
