For some reason, the wikia will give me an unknown error when trying to translate the article’s first paragraph (the one in italic font) to any languages. Don’t know why it happens so I left it, if anyone knows how to fix it please do tell. MizuMizu (talk) 04:24, 19 September 2022 (UTC)
- @MizuMizu Can you provide any details on what the error is? That would help diagnose the problem. A description or image might help (although it is preferable to not upload the image to the wiki). - @chaoticshadow This is the error in question. It gives me an error after trying to publish the translation, and also shows it as unpublished in list mode even after I did try to multiple times. It gives no further detail, unfortunately. MizuMizu (talk) 04:57, 19 September 2022 (UTC)
- @MizuMizu That is super strange. I just tried copying the translation for the first sentence and it seems to go through. Maybe try to save sentence by sentence and see what MediaWiki is angry about? That error really doesn't tell us anything useful; it might be Miraheze server stability issues again (I got a few 502/503s earlier today) but I have no clue otherwise. chaoticshadow (talk) 05:05, 19 September 2022 (UTC)
- @chaoticshadow As I feared, it seems it’s the links. I’m not knowledgeable enough about editing to know what might be causing it apart from stability issues like you said, so I’ll leave it be for now and maybe try again later. Thank you for the help regardless.

- @MizuMizu Hmm, that's strange, I'll ask another translator to see if they faced a similar issue before. As far as stability issues, it's just the nature of sharing servers with a lot of other wikis without the capacity to do sometimes. It spontaneously happens a few times for a day and goes away the next; no idea exactly why. As far as I know all we can do is use less expensive extensions and upload more optimized files. chaoticshadow (talk) 05:29, 19 September 2022 (UTC)
