It goes without saying that a good event needs good music. On top of that, you're trying to surpass RAD WEEKEND. You'll need quality that lives up to that.

First, let me tell you a little bit about the music we wrote when we put on RAD WEEKEND.

まずは、RAD WEEKENDをやった時、 オレ達が作った曲について話すとするか

The music we played back then was something the three of us composed together. It was music we poured everything we'd ever felt 'til that moment into.

Yeah. It was the music we were singing for Nagi's final event, after all.

And because of that, we were able to heat up the crowd as much as we did...to a level we'd never before experienced.

(The passion of that day wasn't just from Ken-san and the others' voices. ...It was because of that heart-pounding song that everything lit up. I was able to get a firm grasp of that, even by just watching the footage.)

Nagi-san, Ken-san, Taiga-san, everybody who's been in town this whole time...we've all found the resolve to carry on this dream and continue pursuing it, with a full understanding of all the feelings behind it.

凪さん、謙さん、大河さん、昔から街にいる皆さん…… そのすべての想いを知った上で、 背負って夢の先へ進むという覚悟をしました

The intensity of the feelings that we carry——I'm certain that they wouldn't lose to the feelings of you and everyone else, Ken-san.

その、俺達の想いの強さは—— きっと謙さん達にだって負けていません

But...if you were to ask me if I could consolidate all of those feelings and turn them into music...

ただ……俺がそんな想いをまとめ上げ 曲にできるのかというと……

——I think it's possible, but only because it's you.

——オレは、お前になら可能性があると思っている

In the past, you let me listen to all of the music you've written up 'til now, and...

以前、お前達が今まで作った曲をすべて聴かせてもらったが……

Toya, there's something about your music that's just different. Even without lyrics, there are plenty of things you're able convey through sound alone...that's how I feel.

冬弥の曲は、何かが違う。歌詞を聴かなくても、 音から伝わってくるものが多い……そんな感覚がある

It's probably because you've been interacting with music in a special way, unique from any other person, since you were a child.

But if it was Toya, he'd be able to consider all of your feelings——no matter how incomprehensibly huge or complicated——and the likelihood of him being able to condense all of that into one piece is higher.

だが冬弥なら、お前達全員の想いを—— 例えそれがとてつもなく大きく複雑なものだったとしても、 ひとつの音楽としてまとめられる可能性が高い

...It's true, the last time I listened to Aoyagi-kun's music, I was able to feel so many different emotions...

You're right. It's kind of a shame that we won't be able to perform any of the music we've written up 'til now——

If my composing is what gives us the chance to surpass the music you wrote with the others, Ken-san...then I have no other choice. That's what I believe.

謙さん達が作った曲を超える—— 俺が作ることでその可能性が生まれるなら……やるしかない。 そう思います
